From my point of view Clariba’s culture is very non-hierarchical. I would say that everyone works together regardless of their positions, which I find to be something very special. In a lot of companies, you have a kind of a hierarchy where only people on the same levels deal with each other and a little bit of office politics and so on. At Clariba I find that is not the case at all.
I think the CEO deals just as much with the juniors as they do with the senior, the senior deals just as much with the juniors as they do with their managers, for example. So, we have a lot of cooperation happening on different hierarchical levels, so you never feel inferior or superior to anyone else.
If I didn't know something, I would ask my colleagues and get their help. We're lucky to be in a company where you can reach out to someone who knows more than you about that information.
My recommendations for new joiners at Clariba are to never stick to one thing and to have the right attitude. If you have the right attitude, it doesn't matter what background you come from, what formal education you may or may not have. If you have the right attitude, you really can learn and master anything if you dedicate yourself and dedicate your time to that.
Always try to broaden your horizons because Clariba is a company that offers you different paths that you can take.
I started for example in the Business Intelligence space. I ended up in the working both in Business Intelligence and in strategy management. And partially in sales as well, and that's the opportunity that we should all take advantage of.
See what you like the best and Clariba will give you the opportunity to focus on what you enjoy the most and what you're naturally the best at.
